Delicious vegan snack recipe : The best stuffed dates with lemon flavored cream cheese and roasted almonds
Makes about 6 servings
To make this healthy, vegan, gluten-free snack you will need:
12 fresh dates, pitted and slightly sliced in the middle
1 cup of vegan cream cheese
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
1 teaspoon of lemon zest
½ cup of roasted hazelnuts or almonds
- Mix the cream cheese with half of the nuts and the lemon juice.
- Stuff the dates with the cheese mixture, and garnish with the remaining nuts and lemon zest.
