Green smoothie detox
Are you ready for a green smoothie detox today?
3 kale leaves (about 75g)
½ cup fresh flat leaf parsley
1½ cup filtered water or coconut water
1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
3 fresh dates, pitted
¼ cup shelled hemp seeds
A pinch of sea salt or Himalayan salt
- To make your green detox smoothie, add the kale, parsley and water to your blender and mix until you obtain a green paste.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until you get a nice smooth consistency.
- Serve your 2 green detox smoothies immediately.
Protein content per serving: 10g
This smoothie contains high amounts of alkalizing chlorophyll, of healthy manganese, and iron. For best results, I recommend you drink it first thing in the morning or after a workout. You will feel energized and be motivated to continue making healthy food choices during the day.
