Savory Pop-Corn Vegan Recipe - Green to Glass

Delicious savory pop-corn recipe that is vegan, gluten-free, polyphenol and antioxidant rich!

Makes about 4 servings


To make this healthy, vegan, gluten-free, savory pop-corn you will need:

½ cup organic corn kernels

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon roasted sesame oil

1 tablespoon coconut oil

1 tablespoon tamari sauce

2 tablespoons nutritional yeast

2 teaspoons Mexican chili powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika powder

2 teaspoons curry powder


  1. Cook the pop-corn kernels according to the instructions on the package.
  2. Combine all the wet ingredients, oils and tamari sauce, in a small saucepan and heat gently. Whip the mixture to obtain an homogeneous emulsion.
  3. Pour the sauce on the warm pop-corn and mix well to cover all the kernels. Finally add all the spices and the nutritional yeast and mix the pop-corn softly. Enjoy with an ice cold glass of kombucha!
